🌿 Although a beacon of fall I love to use this herb year round. Goldenrod is used to reduce pain and swelling (inflammation), as a diuretic to increase urine flow, and to stop muscle spasms. It is also used for gout, joint pain (rheumatism), arthritis, as well as eczema and other skin conditions.
Solidago gigantea is a hardy perennial that grows in pastures, meadows, and along mountainsides. Native to Europe and Asia, goldenrod is now naturalized throughout North America. The plant has panicles of golden flowers and alternating leaves. Goldenrod herb is often employed in infusions and can also be used in liquid extracts.

Traditionally used as a tea, sometimes available in tea bags. The tea should be drunk between meals. May also be powdered and taken as a capsule or extract.

Folklore suggests that if goldenrod suddenly springs up in your yard that prosperity and money will soon follow.
According to other legends, goldenrod stems have been used as dowsing rods. The flower is said to bob when the seeker points the stem in the right direction. Furthermore, by wearing goldenrod flowers it is said you will cross paths the following day with your future lover. If you are looking to seal the deal, offer them some goldenrod tea. The dried leaves and flowers can be burned to enhance love spells and increase intuition during divination magic.
